Hi guys

today I have a post on 74 ways to make the world a better and happier place, this is going to take forever! But here it goes...

1. Smile! A smile can change a person's day 
2. Compliment someone, make some feel better about the selfs
3. Use your voice, speak up about things if it feels wrong or looks wrong
4. Find someone lonely, if you see someone sitting by the selfs at lunch (please NOT just a random stranger) invite them over to your table, let them know someone cares
5. Manners  don't forget to say sorry and thank you, be polite
6. Think before you speak. Don't end up hurting someone's feelings
7. Make mistakes and learn from them 
8. Fight and know your rights 
9. Forgive. You only hurt yourself 
10. Spread joy 
11. Express kindness
12. Do work that makes you happy 
13. Save water. take quick showers and save our resources
14. Listen before speaking 
15. Be positive
16. Ask for help

A quick update

How Am I blogging wrong?

Hi guys

So today I thought I'd share with you, tips and tricks plus some general ideas you help promote you and your blogging site. I hope you may find this useful, although if you have any better tips, please leave them in the comments below to share with other.

  1.What Does your Blog look like

Is Your neatly presented? or is it messy with gadgets and buttons thrown around everywhere? you need your blog to be as easy to use for your views, otherwise they will not come back

    2. Is your blog light or dark?

I have no problem with darker coloured blog pages, just please remember that dark sites are usually associated with dodgy or hacking sites, people might be thrown off by this and not return.

   3. Do you and your blog have social media?

If you don't have social media such as Twitter or Instagram for your blog, not as many people will realise it is here, leading to less views. Your readers also want to know who you are and if you are a real person, not just a robot behind a computers screen.

  4. Do you have drop down buttons (for mobile sites) and pages/tabs (for websites)?

If you do not have pages and or drop down buttons, look at the top of my page or home page for an example, people will have no idea who you are about, how to contact you o your FAQs . Plus adding this looks more professional.

  5. How often do you post?

If this is a hobby like blogging is for me, try post a least a minimum of one day a week if you can, if this is a job you need to be posting everyday or every other day. The more content you post, the more that gets noticed

  6. Are you on other blogging sites?

Have a look at Bloglovin if you wish to look and receive follows from people who do not have a blogging account or can't follow you because they use a different blogging publishing tool.

 7. Hashtags

When on instagram or any social networking that commonly uses hashtags, don't forget to use them. If you were posting about a new lipstick for example put that hashtags #makeup #newlipstick #mac  people will be looking through these hashtags, meaning that your blog will get more recognised

 8. Remember to post for yourself

There is going to be someone out there who loves you posts, don't change what your doing cause a few people don't like them. If you are posting to make other people happy (which is great) but it's not making you happy (which isn't great) you will eventually loose interest.

 9. This is a working progress

views, comments and followers don't just appear in 10000s overnight, blogging is hard work and you need to realise that by setting suitable goals :)

I try to sleep with them shut, however sometimes I really can't bebothered to go shut them so I just let the monsters come and get me.

2:Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?

No, only because I never have any room in my bag and its such effort

I aim to use post-it notes but sometimes I feel as if they are such a faff to use because they don't stick and you can only write little bits of information on them, and I'm a waffler

Not unless it's for McDonald's

7:Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of a bees?

I have no idea, I'd probably have to flip a coin if the choice had to be made.

Only when I spend time in the sun, my peckles do come out (not freckles) :)

I try to but most of the time I end up pulling a very unattractive face because I never want to be that person who is trying to smile and look good in a picture but actually looks stupid.

people leaving switches on when its unnecessary, if that's you please stop! Global warming and dimming people! Plus it's a fire hazard if you leave a charger in  there without a phone

My Room Tour

Hi guys,

Today I'm doing a room tour, this may not be your average room tour post as at the moment I am defiantly not comfortable with sharing with you my entire room, this isn't because I don't trust you it's only because as you may already know, I am an anonymous blogger and someone might be able to tell this is me, if the ever where to find me! This is my jewellery box which I got as one of my Christmas presents when I was little from my parents, It's is a gorgeous brownie-red shade with beautiful beading. I later saw this in TKMaxx or TJmaxx if you are from America, however I have absolutely no clue what the price was, probably no more than £15.

 Hmmm... I wonder where you might of seen this before? Maybe on the background of my blog? It is my absolute most favourite wallpaper/print and I got this from Laura Ashely, and as I am aware they have a sale going on at the moment so this wallpaper is now £17.55 rather than £39 so it is a massive saving. Here I just a little view of the top of my dressing table, it is a beautiful and old piece of furniture and has a decorative mirror holder as you can see at the far back or the picture. I have my girl online book out as it is a generally pretty looking book and I am a proud support of #teaminternet ! I also have my no.7 light up mirror which you can get from boots, fairy lights at the back from ikea, an a little jar saying love on it, as a homemade Christmas present from a friend. I would of provided a link down to my dressing table, however I got it from an antique furniture shop, with it being pre-loved and full of character.

Duvet Cover

Okay, so I thought this picture would look more effective if I showed you the inside and out of the cover and scuffed up so it had a cool kind of vibe to it (and partly because I couldn't be bothered to make my bed) Yeah so anyway, this is my double bed duvet cover that is super soft and comfy and was reduced at a ridiculous price of £10 or £15 from Tesco. If you are contemplating whether to get a duvet cover from Tesco, go for it they are way worth it and probably cheaper than a lot of places around. Mine is like a many patterned flower/stripe print with pastel colours as I though this would be the best combination for my room.

Here is a not very interesting picture of my built in wardrobe, with Laura Ashely glass heart handles, because the ones before those were awful and floral and green so we just HAD to change them.

This is my stand up mirror that my parents got me and I can't really remember where its from, but I decorated it with bunting and rose fairy lights as well as my ballet pointe shoes, I think this look quite pretty :)

This I my pink arm chair, that my parents also got me, and it is decorated with numerous amount of cushions but my favourite is the one I got from Cath Kidson with a strawberry and duck egg blue print.

A little thankyou, to you

Dear Readers,

Today I logged into my account and immediately saw that 96 of you had already viewed my blog site today, and before that my record was 61. I can not tell you how emotional and happy that made me feel. At this point I hadn't even acknowledged the yesterday's views, and when I saw them I was amazed! 287 of you viewed my blog yesterday, I am really stuck for words.

Two months ago I was someone who wanted to make other people feel happy, joyful and make them laugh. I know, because of this, know there is someone out there, maybe just one person sat there smiling at the screen there looking at my posts. To be honest I don't even care if your are smiling or laughing at my atrocious spelling or my actual posts, it's making a little bit of a difference.

There are people out there who have 5 million subscribers and more to their channels or pages whereas I have five and I'm very proud! Autism awareness month

So I know autism awareness day was on April 2nd, however most people think of April as Autism awareness month, so I thought I would write a blog post on this as someone close to me who I love very much has it and also I needed to post about the month before it was too late!

What Is Autism?

 Autism is a lifelong disability that affects how a person relates to or communicates with other people. It also affects how they make sense of the world around them. Autism affects people in different ways, even if they share the same condition, some people are able to live independently, go to university, school and have a social life without it affecting them as much as others who may have accompanying learning conditions. Some people may need to have life long specialist support and can experience sensitivity to sounds, touch, smells, lights and colours.

About Autism

There some main areas which most people with autism find an issue with

•  difficulty with social communication
• difficulty with social interaction
• difficulty with social imagination
• difficulty telling people what they need and feel
• difficulty understanding how people feel and think

There are many people with autism in England, Scotland, wales and Ireland, more than 1 out of 100 people has autism, you can not always tell people have autism when you look at them and because of this people call it a hidden disability.

What causes Autism?

No one knows why people have autism, it can be genetic when a parent passes it on to their child. You don't have to carry out a certain action to give it them.

A Day In The Life Of Me.

Hi, guys

sorry about the lack of posts of the past couple of days, I've been quite busy and had no scheduled posts, so I though this would be a good opportunity to do "a day in the life of me" post as I've been doing some vaguely interesting stuff.

My friend came over for a sleepover, however this was quite late on in the day so we didn't do much apart from watch a couple of films which were the woman in Black 2 and The Fault In Our Stars, as well as talking and eating so therefore it was a very relaxing enjoyable evening. The next day we got up late morning and decided it was a good idea to go to the park seen as though England has been having such lovely weather at the moment (it had been up to 20 degrees!). My other friend met us there, at the park, and we had great fun playing on the swings and slides and just generally walking about, it was nice to act like a kid for the day. Due to the weather there was a lot of people in the park so we made our way towards "The Cliff" for a bit of peace and quiet, if you follow me on instagram (@everythinganything_blog) you have already seen these pictures I took of the cliff.

The cliff is like a bunch of rocks which has a gorgeous view of the countryside, it's always very quite and peaceful, nobody really knows its there.

 On a park bench across the road we saw an old couple with their two beautiful cavalier king Charles spaniel dogs, named Molly and Ruby, they reminded me so much of my dogs. After enjoying spending our time around the dogs we thought it would be a goo idea to go get my dogs and take them for a run around the park. The leaped and bound across the green grass, it was so lovely see them so gentle and caring around all the small children too. Eventually the dogs were getting a bit too hot and bothered after being in the heat for so long, so we took them home and sat outside in my garden drinking cool drink and eating juicy ice-lollies.

We took the bus back to her house, whilst the sun was still beaming down, because we decided to have a double back-to-back sleepover kind of thing, it was red hot travelling down to her house! Instead of watching the woman in black in order, as we should of done, we watched the first woman in black and hid beneath the covers as she jumped out on us. If you are stuck between watching The woman in black 1 or 2, I would defiantly recommend watching the first one as it is much scarier and interesting.

 The next morning we went on a beautiful walk over fields and mud tracks, seeing some spectacular views.

The fresh air felt great, and my skin looked as if I was getting some sort of a tan. When I eventually went home, my mum and I took the dogs on a long and beautiful walk in the sunshine (in the park again) and curled up on the sofa watching some movies and eating beef stew which is my favourite all time meal.

1. How and when did you meet? At school, about a year ago *sings about a week ago*
2. What’s your favourite memory together? The dinosaur. Basically, we were just messing about when but came over one day, and he wanted to show me his dinosaur impression (haha very funny) and it made me laugh so hard I fell on the floor and farted, yeah I know classy.
3. Describe each other in one word. cRAY CrAy or crazy
4. What’s our dream job? Interior Designers in Rome (and drive fiat 500s in pastel colours)

What I like, love and hate about social media

Hi guys!

 

Today I'll be writing a blog post about the things I love and hate about social media! This should be interesting!

I like how I can, with a click of a few buttons, message someone on the other side of the world without it taking days or years, depending on if they're online and if your connections great, it's almost instant. It's scary how we've gone from waiting weeks and months on end for a reply to a letter or for your messenger to come back and now it's instantaneous. Its amazing how much more power and control we have over things that back in the day they didn't used to have. 

I love how I connect with people like the way I can connect with my readers, I could spill my heart out and I've probably a least got someone out there reading my posts who understands the way I feel. I love the mysteriousness of being able to connect with people I've never met before without it putting me in an inch of danger. Especially as I can do this anonymously, could you have written something and put it up somewhere for everyone to see about your feelings and passions anonymously,100 years ago? Probably not. The Internet is one scary fast moving thing . I love how people can put content on the Internet or social media which can truly change people's life whether that's with advice or general fundraising to save people's lives!

I hate how I'm scared. I'm scared of seeing unpleasant comments or messages that could be sent or aimed at me whether it's to my online self or virtual self. I'd hate to be one of the people who'd be targeted at for being disliked or judged because of a certain action I took. I hate how I've grown up in a generation where it's normal to be scrolling down YouTube comments or blogger comments and see hateful and hurtful comments written on people's pages or posts. Yes, most lovely comments may outweigh the horrible ones, but which type of comment  do you think would be mostly likely to affect you? I know for sure that the bad cinema would stick in my mind all day. What I'm mostly scared of and hate the fact that I have completely no idea where the Internet is heading in future and if it's actually going to be a good idea for the world to participate in.

Triple chocolate cookies

Hi guys!

Today I thought I would do a blog post on the cookies I made. they are truly scrumptious and only take less than an hour including prep! Can you beat that!? Everyone I know loves my cookies, and always ask for more of the recipie, so I thought I'd share it with you lovely people! :)

Unfortunately this is the only picture I have of my cookies at the moment :(  but I'll be replacing it with a much better photo soon, when I next make them again. This won't take long as they're sooo good, I make them like practically every weekend 

You will need:

125g of butter
100g brown sugar
125g caster sugar
1 egg
175g of self-raising flower
50g Cocoa powder
1/2tsp of salt (optional)
1tsp vanilla extract
150 - 200g of chocolate goodies (e.g chocolate chips/bars)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees
2. Get a baking tray out and place ungreased baking paper
3. Cream the butter and sugars together 
4. Add in egg and mix it around
5. Add in vanilla extract
6. Sift in flour and mix round
7. Sift in cocoa and mix round
8. Add salt
9. Add chocolate goodies and mix around
10. Roll balls in to whatever size you want I recommend about a ping pong ball size
11. Place on preprepared baking tray
12. Leave in for 7-8 minutes if you want really soft and doughy cookies (my favourites) and leave them for 15-30 minutes to harden on a wire rack , I don't know how long it may take. if you want them harder then cook for 10+ until they look hard and are a bit golden around the edges and place on a wire rack. 
13. Eat and enjoy!

Easter tree

Hi guys,

So today (4/4/15) I only just put up my Easter tree with on day to spare until Easter! Now  I was quite sad that  only did it today because I realised that you guys probably wouldn't be able to do one either seen as though it's such late notice. I'm supposed to be cleaning my room at the moment, but I thought that it would be much more use of my time writing this blog now, so that you can do it next year. If I remember, I will repost this post next  year so you guys can see it again and hopefully be able to make one.

My Finished Easter Tree!

To make this Easter tree, you will need:

1. A vase
2. water
3. Tree branches, I get mine off a
4. little chicks (optional)
5. handing decorations (this can be anything easterly)

 I have some shop bought decorations and a few hand made ones, So I'll give you instructions on how to do handmade ones :)

EGG SHELL HANGING DECORATIONS

you will need

1. A bowl of how many eggs you want
2. Paint (optional)
3. paper/wrapping paper
4. glue
5. needle
6. thread or ribbon, whatever will fit through the hole

Instructions

1. Get a 3mm thick needle and piece top and bottom of the egg. Make sure that the needle had gone far enough into the egg so that the egg whites and the yokes are mixed
2. Cover both the holes with your fingers and shake the eggs
3. Now drain the eggs by placing them vertically, wash them with warm water and leave them to dry for a little bit
4. thread the thread or ribbon, through both holes and tie a not at the end
5. Make a loop at the top

for decorating ideas

     6.get your paint, paint the egg
     7. wait for it to dry
                or
     6.get your wallpaper and PVA glue
     7.get glue and stick paper to it, for shine give the egg another coat of the glue

Happy Easter

Hi guys!

I hope the Easter bunny has come for you all and that you are having a lovely day filled with friends and family and relaxation. I'm going to keep the blog post today short and sweet, as all I'd really like to do is wish you a days full of happiness as I'll be thinking about all my readers today, so yes you. This may be the only time you think about this today, but I'd like you all just for a couple of seconds think of the real reasons that we do have Easter and be respectful to those who believe that, thank you.

Learing from mistakes

Hi guys!

So today I thought that I would do a blog post about mistakes, which you  might of gathered from the title. We all know that everyone makes mistakes, that we can't be perfect and its okay to make mistakes whether that's to do with school work, sporting mistakes, family and friendships. Mistakes can range from small things such as getting a maths question wrong or a more serious mistake like cheating with another person.

Sometimes mistakes can leave you in bad situations, but that's okay because we need to make them in order to improve who we are as a person. An example of this is, say I was in a maths test and I got the answer wrong on a multiplication question, I can only improve from this and learn how to do the multiplication and have gained from making that mistake. Although, I'm not saying live your life making mistakes, you just need to try your best at everything you can and learn from it.

In other situations we need to accept what we have done wrong and this might mean there's a need to apologise in order to make it better. Try not to jut assume that you haven't done anything (even if you haven't)  because then you wont be gaining from that experience and will be carrying on with old ways which will probably get you no where in life. Once you've learned from these mistakes you'll know that its not the best idea to do or say certain things which will then mean that we can live in a happier place, not only for you but for other people.
