Not regretting and the trick to life

As you're reading this there is probably someone regretting things they haven't done. For me A lot of my regrets are silly things such as not plucking my eyebrows or picking up that toblerone from pound land.

The trick to life is to be kind, respectful, loving have courage and grab a great opportunity when it comes. I regretted for months on end not speaking to my friend straight after we fell out as that landed me in a bad situation, but unfortunately unless you have a super brain you can't see into the future and what may happen. If it's not possible to grab that opportunity straight away, you just need to make the best out of the situation there, and that can be difficult especially when you're with people or environments you dislike. Regretting things, makes you replay a moment in slow-motion about ten thousand times. Okay, imagine something really hurtful that you could say to another person and you said it. Once they have left you've already gone through what their facial expression meant, what their body movement represented, what their reply meant and how they exited the place or room. When you regret you really analyse and realise what you can do to improve or get better as a person. Although, I'm not saying you should do everything wrong so that you can analyse your actions through regret, I'm saying if you do something wrong that you regret maybe you should think about what you did a bit more, if that might help.

Regret also brings worry, so know that regretting that something has happened could be a bad thing, so if it's not a problem worth worrying about, don't regret about it either.

Now, I could list ten things in my life that I regret but unfortunately that would end up being a list full of not getting some chocolate or washing my hair or the ones I mentioned earlier. If you're going to get anything out of this blog post, It's going to be
  1. Live life to the fullest
  2. be respectful, loving, have courage and grab great opportunity's
  3. Only use regret when you think something is wrong or has gone bad and you NEED to analyse a situation
  4. Try not to regret
  5. Read some more of my blogs, if more advice is needed
