wearing makeup and your fabulousness

Hi guys,

So today I thought that in my free time I would write about why people wear makeup.

Personally I think that makeup should be worn to enhance someone's natural beauty or for just general fun, however for most people its seen as something to cover up things that they class as flaws.

To me, makeup helps boost my confidence as my skin has many flaws such massive pores and a lot of spots! Although a lot of the time I don't see myself wearing makeup as "enhancing" my natural beauty, I see it as a way to cover up my flaws. Don't get me wrong, I do love to put makeup on and experiment with the different techniques in how I can do It, it's just most of the time I'm in a rush and its difficult to experience the enjoyment out of makeup when it's carelessly done.

Today I went to school not wearing makeup, and I have this huge and gigantic spot right on the side of my nose. I went into school thinking that everyone was going to stare and the might not take me as serious and a bunch of other stupid excuses. Half way through the day, I stopped caring and realised that from now on I'm going to wear makeup when I want to and I'm going to wear makeup, not for anybody else, for myself.

I've now banned the excuse "oh sorry that I'm not wearing makeup today" from my vocabulary as it's not something that I should have to be sorry for, and people need to respect that. Most of the people I know do respect that but there's some people that need to learn.

I hope that those of you who do wear makeup will join me in having the confidence of barefacedness and not care about the "haters" who are probably only jealous of your fabulousness anyway

From me xx
